Gail Powell Guelker, 59, of Orange, died Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at the Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 2, 2010, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange with Reverend Roy Parker officiating.

Graveside services will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Village Mills Cemetery in Village Mills.

Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service on Friday.

Born in Orange on February 26, 1951, Gail was the daughter of John T. Powell, Jr. and Lois Evelyn Overstreet Powell.

Gail is survived by her husband, W.F. "Pete" Guelker of Orange; parents, John T. "Pete" and Lois Powell of Orange; sons and daughters-in-law, Eli and Heather Witterstaeter of Mont Belvieu and Keith Allen and Jenny Guelker of Buna.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Amanda and Ashley Guelker; sister and brother-in-law, Regina and Jody Broussard of Wallisville; nieces, DeAnna Mckay, Karli Newton; brother and sister-in-law, Dick and Joni Powell of Buna; nephew, Trent Powell; and niece, Jami Wilkerson.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Roy "Doodle" McKay, Trent Powell, Mickey Permenter, Jeff Lummus, Dale Stevens and Darwin Brack.
