Geneva Cooper, 85, of Beaumont passed away Friday, May 21, 2010 at her home.

A graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 24, 2010 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Bishop Little of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will officiate.

There will be a gathering of family and friends Sunday evening from 4:30 until 7:30 p.m. at Claybar Kelley Watkins Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cooper was born August 24, 1924 in Galvez, LA to Lee and Winnie Buratt Brown and was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.R. Cooper; son, Joseph Diez; one brother; 4 sisters and is survived by her niece, Joyce Edmonston and many friends who loved her dearly.
