George Freddy Pillsbury

George Freddy Pillsbury, 61, died Friday, October 31, 2008, in Beaumont. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, November 3, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Claybar Funeral Home's temporary location at 1408 Park Ave at the old Park Ave Methodist Church in Orange. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Monday before the service.

Freddy was born in Orange on November 29, 1947, to Homer and Dorothy Rogers Pillsbury He belonged to Pipefitters Local 195 and was a veteran of the United States Marines. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Freddy is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, George Freddy Pillsbury, Jr. and Jennifer of Orange and his daughter, Angela Lynn Pillsbury of Houston; three grandchildren, Skylar Pillsbury, Daniel Browning, and Homer Isaac Pillsbury: one brother, Homer Pillsbury of Beaumont and his God daughter, Katrina Lancaster of Austin; his father in law, Homer Sargent of Orange; special friends, Susan and Billy Ash and his former wife, Shirley Pillsbury of Orange.

My father was an amazing man and father. He loved me unconditionally. He had the most radiant smile and he blessed many of us with it.
