George Joseph Robicheaux

George Joseph "Joe" Robicheaux, Jr., 66, a 39 year resident of Bridge City, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at Christus St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Beaumont.

Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday the 29th at the funeral home in Orange.

Joe was born September 5, 1941, in Beaumont, to George Joseph Robicheaux, Sr. and Bertha Mildred McClain Robicheaux.

Joe retired from DuPont Sabine River Works and was an Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War.

He was an avid pool player, hunter and fisherman.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents, George and Bertha Robicheaux and nephew John Robicheaux, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Phariss Robicheaux, son, Eric Robicheaux of Mauriceville, daughter, Michelle Robicheaux Hillman of Waco, grandsons, Noah Robicheaux and Tanner Robicheaux; sisters, Judy Broussard of Sulphur, La, Mary Jane Bernard, June Cumberland both of Baytown and brother John Robicheaux of Bridge City.

To the family of Joe, Joe was a valuable member of our pool team in fact his average was the best on our team. We were just picking on him Tues. night about being on our team for the next season.
