George Clifton Ferguson, Jr., 53, of Orange, Texas, died Saturday, November 6, 2010, at Baptist Orange Hospital.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 10, 2010, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. A cremation will follow under the direction of Claybar Haven of Rest Crematory in Bridge City.
Born in Orange, Texas on July 1, 1957, George was the son of George C. Ferguson, Sr. and Birdie Bell Joshlin Ferguson. He worked as an operator at Signal International.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Donna Fredrick.
George is survived by his wife, Patty D. Ferguson of Orange; daughter, Gail D. Prettyman and her husband, Keith of Mauriceville; son, George C. "Boo" Ferguson, III and his wife, Stephanie of Bridge City; daughter, Shondra L. Thorne and her husband, Scott of Dover, Delaware; and daughter, Dana M. Conley and Chris Briggs of Orange.
He is also survived by his 4 grandsons, Bishop, Kolby, Casey and Joshua; 6 granddaughters, Allison, Peyton, Kaylie, Baylie, Carrissa and Chloe; brother, Robert "Bobby" Ferguson and his wife, Julie of Hartburg; sister, Debra Meche of Sulphur, Louisiana; and many nieces and nephews.
