Upon retirement, he moved to Woodville where he became very active in Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church, was a proud member of the Catholic ACTS community and the most recent recipient of the Stewardship Award given by the Diocese of Beaumont. Jerry and his wife, Bobbie, developed the Triple Creek RV Park in Woodville and began a tradition of bluegrass and gospel music weekends.
