Geraldine (Jerry) (Sister) Stewart Sims, 94, a resident of Calder Woods, passed away January 21, 2015. Jerry was born April 27, 1920 in Vinton, LA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar A. Sims; daughter, Jane E. Gay; mother, Laura Langley Stewart; brothers, Merle, Percy and Tyrus Stewart.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jo Ann and Jay Koch; son and daughter-in-law, Lane S. and Penny Sims; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
