I met GP in the mid 70s & we quickly became friends & stayed close throughout the years. She was such a beautiful person & so much fun. She was also one of the most creative people I’ve ever known, making the most gorgeous dried flower arrangements I’ve ever seen. She kept photos of her children & grandchildren in her wallet and loved bragging on each of them at the shows we did together. My favorite photo of her is showing off her grandkids Blaine & Chloe. I will miss my dear friend until we meet again. Love, Cathy

G. P. (as we all called her) and I were friends as we grew up in Calvary Baptist Church. We had so much fun in all the church youth activities, especially YWA’s (Young Women’s Association). She was in the middle of everything laughing and having a good time, the “life of the party”. I’m so sorry to learn of her passing and pray that you will find comfort in knowing that many folks loved her deeply through the years.
