Grace E. Warren
Funeral services for Grace E. Warren, 94, of Beaumont will be held Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel. A gathering of friends and family will be at 2:30 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in the Houston National Cemetery on Wednesday, October 7, 2009.
Mrs. Warren was born Feb. 11, 1915 in El Campo Texas to the late Charles H. and Lena Harper Thompson and passed away Oct. 1, 2009 at Christus-St. Elizabeth Hospital.
She was a retired civilian clerical employee with the U.S. Air Force and a former resident of Oklahoma City and Rockport prior to moving to Beaumont 20 years ago. She was a member of Westgate Memorial Baptist Church, the Eastern Star and the D.A.R.
She is survived by her son, Dr. Earl Johnson of Beaumont; grandsons, Dr. Dustin Rhoden-Johnson of Austin, Hunter Thomas Johnson of Austin, David Mark Johnson and wife, Denise, of Sugar Land; great-grandchildren, Alex Johnson, Brittany Johnson, Tiffany Johnson and Gavin Dane Roden-Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Warren.
