I met Morris in 2001 when I attended my first IDPA match at Golden Triangle Gun Club. As a newbie to the sport, Morris welcomed me with open arms and walked me through the rules, safety procedures, etc. He also encouraged me in later years to continue my training and obtain instructor certifications. We later taught pistol and personal protection courses together with me being the beneficiary of a lot of his knowledge on the subject matter. Morris was a friend and will be missed.

I grew up in the same neighborhood as Morris and his sisters, Marguerite and Laura, and have a fond memory of one of their cats riding around on his shoulders. He had a kind heart and loved people and animals. It meant so much to me when he and Marguerite attended my late husband's visitation/funeral, as I had not seen them in many years.

Graves Morris Jones is my friend and I will miss him very much. I was in the Army too and served overseas also. We had many of the same interests. I was a Medic and he was a Rigger for parachutes as well as a Senior Parachutist and Jumpmaster. I told him I would never jump out of a perfectly good airplane. He told me he never saw a perfectly good airplane. I know that to be true because I fly little airplanes as well as big ones. I prayed for him for quite a while since knowing him. I prayed for his healing and God heard me and healed him for good. I truly believe I will see him some day and that is hope for the family. My condolenses to his family ,Maggy especially who went above all means to make him well and all his family and friends. Rest In Jesus` Arms Big Guy. Adam Courville Beaumont Texas
