Gregory Johnson, 61, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on August 16, 2019.

Born in Jacksonville, Florida, on March 4, 1958, he was the son of Willie James Harden and Carol McDonald. Gregory worked for the Seafarers International Union as a merchant marine for over 35 years. He was kind-hearted, giving and a hard worker. He was a loving son, brother, father and grandfather. Gregory was a great provider and deeply loved by his children. He will be greatly missed by all those who came to know and love him.

He is preceded in death by his mother and brother, Ruben.

He is survived by his children, Gregory Therdo Johnson, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL, Shapria LaToya Johnson of Jacksonville, FL, Renory Rebecca Johnson of Hattiesburg, MS, and Renzell Remond Johnson of Columbia, MS; grandchildren, Alexis, Yanna, Zuri, Sunita, Reniyah, Rhaelynn, Deizaire, Gabrielle and Grayson; and siblings, Vanessa, Derrick, Lorenzo, LaVelda and Patricia.
