Grover H. Hoggatt

Grover Hoggatt, age 84, of Bridge City, Texas passed away Friday, December 5, 2008 at Brazosport Memorial Hospital. A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2008, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m .at the Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Services will be held Monday, December 8, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. with Brother Bob Boone of the First Baptist Church of Bridge City officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Garden near Bridge City.

Grover was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Bridge City and was active in the Sunday School department.

Mr. Hoggatt was preceded in death by his parents, Earns and Ada Jane Hoggatt and three brothers. He is survived by his wife, Aileen Hoggatt and his two daughters, Traci Hoggatt and Kelley Perry and son-in-law Lee Perry. He is also survived by his brother Marvin Hoggatt and wife Martha; nephews, James Marvin Hoggatt and Bill Hoggatt; niece, Carolyn Ellis.

Mrs. Eileen, Kelley, and Traci, I was so saddened to hear about Mr. Grover. He was a wonderful man with a great personality.
