Harold Roger “Buck” Buchanan, 57 of Beaumont was born January 19, 1958 in Waco, Texas to Rudolph Lamar Buchanan and Judith Lynn McIntire and passed away at his residence on November 21, 2015. A lifelong resident of Beaumont, Buck worked much of his life as a steel worker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Judith Lynn McIntire and Rudolph Lamar Buchanan; and brother, Mark McIntire; and niece, Johnence Yanez.
He is survived by his daughter, Stacy Buchanan of Beaumont; sons and daughters-in-laws, Chris and Suzanne Buchanan of Lumberton, Charles and April Berwick of Beaumont; sisters, Debra Bowman of Orangefield, Gale Crider Zamora of Orangefield, Cathy Highmiller of Ohio; brother, John Crider and wife, Brenda; faithful friend, Mike Lopez and his wife, Sharon of Beaumont; and ex-wife, Windy Dyson Armas and her special friend, Magui Torres of Beaumont; 10 grandchildren, Andrea, Emilio, Juan, Kristian, Douglas, Cainan, Dominic, Alix, Charlize, Ethan; and 2 great-grandchildren, Selena and Mia.
A gathering of his family and friends will be held on Friday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home.
