Willette Garza, 71, of Lumberton, passed away Monday, February 7, 2011.

A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel. Mr. Kevin O?Malley will officiate the service.

Mrs. Garza was born April 5, 1939 in Longville, LA to V. S. and Stella Jennings Howington. She was a retired LVN previously working for Quality Care and Harbor Hospice.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Arthur Garza and Thurston Miller; brother, John Samuel Howington and sister, Ernestine Dickens.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, John Paul Miller and wife, Debbie, of Hillsboro, NH; daughter, Cynthia Diane Miller of Lumberton; step-daughter, Renea Garza Josey and husband, Jimmy, of Houma, LA; brother, John Dempsey Howington and wife, Connie, of Canton, OH; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
