Hellen Kay West, born on January 12, 1947, in Beaumont, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2026, in Silsbee, Texas.

Kay is remembered fondly by her children, Kerry West and Vernon Allen West. She took great joy in her role as a grandmother to Ashlie and Larissa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Iowa and Alice Breaux, her husband, Vernon Harper West, and her brothers, Merlin Breaux and LJ Breaux.

A graveside service will be held on February 12, 2026, at Rosedale Cemetery in Sour Lake, Texas. The service will start at 3:00 PM.

Kay West's legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
