Services celebrating the life of Herbert Edgar Ballance IV will be held Saturday March 12, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Claybar Funeral Home Beaumont. A gathering of family and friends will precede the service from 1:00 p.m. to service time.

Herbert was born July 27, 1993 in Beaumont to Herbert Ballance III and Gabrielle Womack and died March 5, 2016. He attended West Brook High School. Sports were the things he really enjoyed, especially football and boxing.

He was preceded in death by his father. Surviving him are his mother, Gabrielle Womack and his step-father Richard Waits; brother, Justin Ballance; sisters, Alexandra Ballance, Kayla Meinscher, Courtney Meinscher and Trinity Waits; step-mother, Monika Ballance; fiancée, Ashley Bailey and her children Ethan, Timothy, Miranda and Shelby, and a large extended family who loved him and whom he loved.

Herbie enjoyed playing and watching sports with his family, especially football and UFC. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a deep loyalty to his family and friends. Through all he has been through he was a kind, generous and loving person with a passionate soul and an extraordinary son, brother and recently father.
