Imogene Cariedale Claunch, 92, of Beaumont was born April 29, 1926 in Clarks, Louisiana to Stanley Hinds Smith and Lillian Balua Smith and passed away on May 17, 2018 in Beaumont.

Mrs. Claunch was a longtime resident of Beaumont and was a retired sales clerk who worked many years for Kress Department Store and Kmart.

She was preceded in death, in 1980, by her husband, Willie Hyatt Claunch and is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Thelma and Jerry Watson of Lumberton, Texas; sister, Lois Caloway of Little Rock, Arkansas; brother, Stanley Elmer Smith of Monroe, Louisiana and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be help at a later date.
