My MawMaw was the most caring, kind-hearted woman I have ever met. It is an honor for me to be able to be called her Grandson. She would do anything for anyone, at anytime. I was blessed to be able to share life with my grandmother for 35 years. Even though our time together here on this earth has come to an end, I live with strong Faith knowing that we will meet again in a place called Heaven to share memories together we could never imagine here. I will always miss seeing you interact with my son, your only great grandchild Jayden and how happy you two always were just to see each other. There is one thing I remember most about my grandmother and I am grateful for, that is always bringing me with her to church on Sunday mornings as a child. I remember so well the first scripture I learned as a young child while at church with her one Sunday. It says to Do Unto Others as you would have them Do Unto You. I believe MawMaw lived with that in her heart and she displayed it so well in her life. You will be forever missed but surely never forgotten. Your memory will give me the strength to continue on as the man you helped me become, even if you thought you may have had little affect on me, you have made a huge everlasting impact. You helped me at an early age to build a solid foundation and you will continue to live with me everyday. To one of the greatest ladies I have ever known, Rest Peacefully MawMaw and we will see you again.

Iris's dedication and commitment to christ, her kind hearted nature, and her selfless generosity makes this loss specially painful to anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting this special woman. There is no doubt Iris has the biggest mansion in heaven. My sincerest condolences, prayers, and sympathies are with the family.
