Iverlle Little

Funeral services for Iverlle Little, 80, of Beaumont, will be held Sunday, July 11, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins chapel. Interment will follow at 4:30 p.m. in the Trout Creek Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Mrs. Little was born June 15, 1930, in Louisiana, to Ivy and Bessie Jackson and passed away July 8, 2010 in Webster, TX. Iverlle was a loving and devoted Christian lady who was very active in her church and volunteered in an area nursing home. Her goal in life was to minister to others.

Iverlle was preceded in death by her brothers, Ezell and Wayne Jackson and her husband Wayne Little. Those left to cherish her memory are daughter, Karen Bean and husband, Gary of League City and son, Dan Little and wife, Verna of Nederland; grandchildren, Brent and Jennifer Bean, Krystal and Brandon Bailey, Michael and Autumn Little, and Kelly and J.D. Davalos; great-grandchildren, Brendan, Blake, Emma, Trent, Reese, and Rayden; brothers, Bo Jackson, Pinkie Jackson, Dorman Jackson and wife, Paula, and Elmo Jackson; sisters, Janeyce Leavings, Earlene Jasper and husband, Gene; and many nephews, nieces, and friends who loved her.

So sorry to hear of Iverlle's passing. She's lived across the street from my parents for a while now and was always visiting and making sure they were alright. Last year when my Mom passed away, she was very thoughtful, made sure my Dad was ok, brought ##imported-begin##Helen Huebel##imported-end##
