Jacky Mossburg, 70, of Silsbee, passed away on October 5, 2017, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.

A memorial gathering will be from 5:00-7:00p.m., Saturday, October 14, 2017, at Claybar Funeral Home in Beaumont.

Born in Sour Lake, Texas, on October 3, 1947, he was the son of Arthur James Mossburg and Mattie Viola (Dorothy) Mossburg. Jacky loved to work and was very entrepreneurial starting at an early age. His chosen profession was a land developer. He loved everyone, but he especially loved his grandchildren. He always said “If you’re not laughing, you’re not living”.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Dorothy Mossburg; brother, Ronnie Mossburg; sisters, Betty Mossburg Stagner and Margaret Mossburg Wilson..

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Mossburg; his children, Julie Mossburg Callier, Tammy Mossburg Lenaburg, Sheri Speckter Tanner, and Sheila Speckter Holt; his grandchildren, Blake Walthall, Spence Lenaburg, Jordan Lenaburg, Ryan Joyce, Reed Joyce, Brady Tanner, Hannah Tanner and Lily Holt; and his sister, Marilyn Mossburg Bradshaw and husband, Spencer; numerous nieces and nephews.
