Mr. James Lloyd "Poo" Rickett, Sr., 75, of Beaumont, TX passed away at his home March 7, 2013 with his loving family at his side.

He was born August 2, 1937 to Benjamin and Lillian Rickett, Sr. and attended Hebert High School and Prairie View A & M University.

There will be a gathering of family and friends Friday, March 15, 2013 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m.

A celebration of James Rickett's life will be held Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at West Tabernacle Church with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A time of viewing will be from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.
