James M. McHenry

Mr. James M. McHenry, Sr., 86, of Beaumont passed away April 27, 2013 in Beaumont, Texas. Mr. McHenry was born in Foreman, Arkansas but lived most of his life in Beaumont.

Mr. McHenry was a veteran of the U. S. Army and served two tours, one in Japan during WWII and later in Korea. He worked for Nance Industries in the air conditioning and refrigeration field.

A celebration of his life will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at10:00 a.m. at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home with interment to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Port Arthur. A gathering of family and friends will be Monday, April, 29, 2013 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. McHenry is survived by his wife of 64 years, Barbara McHenry; a son, Jim McHenry, Jr., and his wife Lisa, of Beaumont; a daughter, Pamela Smitherman of Nacogdoches; and granddaughters, Alison Davis and her husband, Kevin, and Emily McHenry.
