James Ray Busby, Jr., of Beaumont, passed away July 9, 2011 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital. James was born in Denison, TX but has lived in the southeast Texas area for many years.

Surviving James are his wife, Helen Sue Busby; sons, James Robert Busby, Justin Ray Busby and Jamie Ryan Busby; daughter, Mary Louise Busby; grandchildren, Jeramy and Elijah Busby and Ethan Muniz all of Beaumont, TX; sisters, Mary McKinney of Achille, OK and Bobbie Ollie of Denison, TX. James was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lillian Busby, and one sister.

James was a ?family man? who was devoted to his grandchildren. When he wasn?t with his family he enjoyed working on cars and fishing.

A gathering of friends and family will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2011 from 5:00 ? 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
