James Bruce Standifer, 76, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on October 23, 2020.

Born in Levelland, Texas, on June 18, 1944, he was the son of Leroy Standifer and Natha (Frey) Standifer. James graduated from Texas Tech University, he loved working with hands and tinkering with many things. He loved going fishing as well as shooting guns. He enjoyed traveling the world with his work and seeing so many wonder things but what he loved the most was spending time with his grandchildren. James was a true Texan through and through and really enjoyed his coffee and sweet tea. He will be greatly missed by not only his family but all that knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Mary Ann Arnold

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Susan Neff Standifer of Beaumont, his son Richard Standifer & wife Naomi of Beaumont, Texas, daughters Kristi Standifer and Alisha Standifer of Beaumont, Texas, four grandchildren, Gavin, Julia, Alexis and Christopher Standifer, sister Leoma LaRance and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be at a later date.
