James “Trey” Archie Mudd III, 52, of Vidor, Texas, passed away on January 31, 2023.

A memorial service honoring Trey’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, February 10, 2023, at First Baptist Church in Vidor. Officiating will be Pastor Terry Wright.

Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 2:00 p.m.

Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on May 14, 1970, he was the son of James Archie Mudd and Marsha Renee Thompson. Trey proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps before going on to work as a Finance Manager for many years. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Trey’s memory include his parents; his loving wife, Sarah Mudd; children, Haley Renee Mudd, Abbiegale Alea Mudd, and Bethany Nichole Mudd; grandchildren, Isaac Netto, Maebry Duke, and Xianna Avila; brother, John Traweek; and sister, Amy Kelly; along with numerous other loving family and friends.

Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home.
