A Life Remembered
Obituary
James "Jim" Monroe Ware, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on October 6, 2026, in Beaumont at the age of 39. He was born on September 29, 1987, in Beaumont, and will be remembered as a man who lived fully, loved deeply, and brought strength, laughter, and devotion to those around him.
Jim was the owner and operator of Backwoods Construction, a role that reflected his hard work, determination, and willingness to do whatever was needed for his family. He was known as someone who lived life large and made things happen. Those who knew him will remember his beautiful smile, his great sense of humor, and his gift for bringing joy into everyday moments. He often loved to aggravate his mother by showing up in a dirty white t-shirt with a smile on his face. A jokester by nature, Jim had a way of making people laugh and feel at ease. He loved joining in TikTok dance videos, always ready to be silly, share a laugh, and create fun memories together. His playful spirit and joyful personality brought smiles to those around him and made even the simplest moments special.
He loved the lake and the river and found happiness in time spent outdoors. He enjoyed racing cars on both asphalt and dirt tracks, and he especially loved his Nautique boat. He had a deep love for wake surfing and took great pride in teaching his wife and children to surf. Sharing his passion for the water with his family brought him great joy and created cherished memories they will hold close to their hearts for years to come. Jim loved to watch the sunsets on the water with his family. His farm was dear to him, a little slice of heaven that brought him peace and pride. Jim was also a member of Parkway Life Church. He took joy in the things his wife loved, and he treasured the life they built together. Above all, he loved working with his son and loved his children and family very much.
Jim is survived by his wife, Courtney Ware; his daughters, Makenna Ware and Savannah Ware; and his son, Noah Ware. He also leaves behind his father, Ricky Ware, and his mother, Jennie Ware; his father-in-law, Butch Rhymes, and mother-in-law, Cheri Rhymes; his brother, Travis Ware, along with Travis’s wife, Katrina, and their children, J.C. and Logan; his sister, Theresa Lulue, along with her husband, Justin, and their children, Braden and his wife, Haylea, Carter, Emma, and Dylan; his sister-in-law, Megan Burge, and her husband, Jason, and their children, Slade and Colt; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He leaves to all of them the memory of a man whose love for his family was constant, generous, and wholehearted.
