Janet Lee Adams was a lifelong resident of southeast Texas and had lived in Sour Lake for over 20 years. She worked for the City of Sour Lake. She passed away peacefully on February 2, 2020.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Maddox Gray; her father, Cyrus Paul Adams; and sister, Vicki Adams Thompson all of Sour Lake.

She is survived by her fur babies, her dog Sheeba and her cat Dussy, , her step father Jack Gray Sr. of Sour Lake, her half-sister Dena Tullier and her family of Vidor, she had eight step-siblings, several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and close friends.

Janet was very caring, liked to craft, and loved animals.

A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Claybar Kelley Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas.
