Janet Walker Kuhns

Janet Walker Kuhns, 89, of Fort Worth, passed away, Saturday, July 12, 2008.

Memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, July 17, 2008, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Orange, followed by a burial of cremated remains at St. Paul's Memorial Garden. Reverend Marv Howland will officiate.

Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. on Thursday, prior to the service.

Arrangements are under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Janet was born July 21, 1918, in Charleston, West Virginia, to Dr. R. H. and Bessie Jordan Walker.

Janet graduated from Charleston High School in Charleston, WV and attended the University of Indiana and Maryland College where she was a member of the National Honor Society.

She was also a member of the Orange Service League, Red Cross, Leaf and Petal Garden Club, Civil Air Patrol and St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Orange.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lake Kuhns of Orange, parents, Dr. & Mrs. R. H. Walker, brother, Dr. James H. Walker, and sisters, Miss Elizabeth Lee Walker all of Charleston, WV and Mrs. R. C. Owens of Lakeland, FL.

She is survived by her sons, Robert Lake Kuhns, Jr. of Conroe, TX, James Walker Kuhns of Leesville, LA, William Allan Kuhns of Irvine, CA and John Philip Kuhns of Stephenville, TX; sister, Mrs. Harry L. Butler of Augusta, GA; grandchildren, Jacqueline J. Kuhns, Joseph E. Kuhns, Katherine J. Kuhns, Robert C. Kuhns and Jillian H. Kuhns.

I am sorry to learn about the death of Janet Walker Kuhns. This must have been difficult time for all. Therefore, I'm forwarding scripture that will comfort you. Psalm 90:10 says that the usual human life span is 70 or 80 years. This was true when Mos##imported-begin##J Nunnally##imported-end##
