Jason Paul Jannise, 42, of Sour Lake, passed away October 14, 2021, in Beaumont.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Tuesday October 19, at Claybar Kelley Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont. Officiating will be Mr. Ed Jones.

Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1.00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Claybar Kelley Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont.

Born in Beaumont, Texas on May 24, 1979, he was the son of Sidney Jannise and Lelia (Dartez) Jannise. Jason worked hard in the steel industry for many years even working throughout his illness. He could always be found running the roads, visiting with his friends, or working on his car in his spare time. Jason adored his daughter, Hailee and was a loving father, brother, and friend. He left an impact on many lives and will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Sidney Jannise.

He is survived by his mother, Lelia Jannise and stepfather, David Jannise; daughter, Hailee Jannise of Kirbyville; siblings, Ryan Jannise, Amy Lynn and husband Mark, and Karen Jannise; as well as numerous other loving family and friends.
