Jason Roy Taylor

Jason Roy Taylor, 29, or Orangefield, passed away early Thursday morning, November 1, 2007.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 5, 2007, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Bridge City.

Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Eunice Franks, and step-father Bill Taylor.

Jason is survived by his mother, Lanora Jean Taylor of Orangefield; brother Joe Taylor of Orangefield; aunts and uncles: Byron and Jenean Franks of Orangefield, Bob and Aleen Grimes of Diboll, Royce and Danna Franks of Shalimar Florida; along with numerous cousins and close friends.

Born in Orange, Texas he spent most of his life in Orangefield, where he attended school. He worked as a carpenter for many years, following in the footsteps of his grandfather.

Jason will be remembered for his fun loving spirit by all who knew him. And for those who were lucky enough to know him best, we will carry on the memories of all his pranks and practical jokes. He often consoled his mother with this simple statement: ?Don?t worry, worrying is like rocking in a rocking chair, it gets you no where.? He will forever live on in our hearts and memories.

The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, condolences, cards, phone calls, company and food.

We were but then we weren’t Jason…. You’ve been weighing heavily on my mind, heart and soul lately. I don’t understand why. I don’t know what went wrong. I know we were and then we weren’t and I have no freaking idea why. Cause I can’t remember. I do remember when you were trying to show out and did a burn out on your motorcycle in the a parking lot and you wreck it. 😄I do remember when you talked me into getting on the back of your motorcycle out at my grand parents. You got up to a high rate off speed and almost got me sucked right off.🫣I had to tap you several times to get you to slow back down. I do remember you staying with us at Dad’s helping work on Chris’s really fast mustang. Just so you know it hasn’t moved. Or was it the purple truck… I can’t remember. I remember you going to my first concert with me, holding my hand and all. See I can’t remember all of this but I can’t remember where it all went wrong. I’m so lost and dumbfounded about it all. Especially after I found out that everyone but me knew crazy you were about me. 😢 I was blind to it and i don’t know why, because growing up I always knew it was you. It was always you. You will never be forgotten!!!
