Jean Jepson Baker, 93, of Beaumont, passed away on January 7, 2022, at her home.

A graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 11, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Beaumont.

Born in Beaumont, Texas, on September 9, 1928, she was the daughter of Dick Jepson and Myrtis (Leight) Jepson. Jean taught swimming lessons for the YMCA as well as the Beaumont Municipal Pools for many years. She later went on to work for Penney’s as a bookkeeper. Jean enjoyed cooking for family and friends especially for special occasions like holiday’s and birthday’s. She was a one of a kind lady who left an impact on many lives. Jean will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond Wright Baker, Sr.; parents, Dick and Myrtis Jepson; son, Richard Lee Baker; siblings, Pat Crais and Phyllis Cormier.

She is survived by her son, Raymond Wright Baker, Jr.
