Jeanette Coon Webb, 81, of Vidor, Texas died Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at Harbor Hospital in Orange.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, July 2, 2010, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Officiating will be Mr. Jacob Chaney. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Orange.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.

Born in Orange, Texas on June 8, 1929, Mrs. Webb was the daughter of Vannie Morrow and Richard Monroe Coon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Vannie Coon; sisters, Bessie Smith, Nellie Johnson; brother, George Coon; son, John Keith Webb; daughter, Kaenette Webb.

Mrs. Webb is survived by her husband, Walter John Webb; son, Kenneth Webb; daughters, Paula Chaney, Judy Webb; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Richard Coon Jr., Pete Coon, and William Coon.

I feel honored to have been a friend of Ms. Webb. She is a beautiful lady. We had some good times together. I will truly miss her and the times we spent out and about together.
