Jerry Allen Hardy, 76, was born December 9, 1935 to Jewel Hardy and Pearl Moore Hardy in Center, TX. He passed away January 11, 2012 at his residence in Fannett with his family gathered by him. Jerry was a long time resident of the area and worked as a mechanic and air conditioning repairman. To most of the family he was a 'jack of all trades' and could accomplish anything he tried.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Claybar Kelley—Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont. Interment will follow at Landrum Cemetery on Hwy 124 in Fannett. A gathering of friends and family will take place Friday from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Jerry is survived by his son, Jerry Wayne Hardy and wife Holly of Huffman, daughter, Jeannett Fay Luck and husband, Elmer of Livingston, son, Roger Dale Hardy of Fannett, daughters Dorothy Marie Farrow of Orange and Sherry Ann Ryan of Fannett; brother, Joe Wayne Hardy, 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Mae Pinder, his parents and a sister, 'Sis' Phelps.
