Jesse C. Weaver

Jesse C. Weaver, 63, a life-long resident of Beaumont was born June 27, 1948 to Glenn Weaver and Bess Baker Staha in Orange, Texas. Jesse passed away in Beaumont on March 31, 2012 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. Jesse served in the United States Marine Corps from July 1967 to February 1969 prior to his honorable discharge and was a Vietnam veteran. He also worked in construction removing asbestos at various locations prior to being medically disabled.

Funeral services will take place Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. officiated by Euphemia Huefelder at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont. A gathering of friends and family will be from 8:00 a.m. prior to service time at the funeral home.

Jesse is survived by his daughters, Debbie Nowlin and husband, Jason of Lumberton, Jo Ann East of Saratoga; son, Cory Baker of Lumberton; mother, Bess Baker Staha of Beaumont; grandchildren, Jessica, Lise and Erika Jorgenson of Lumberton; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Dennis Weaver of Beaumont; sisters, Glenda Shaw, Beverly Kimball and husband, Willie; former wife, Leslie Ann Hurles. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle; father; and brothers, Ronnie and Bobby Weaver and Mike Howell.
