Orange has lost a man with a contagious laugh, a talent for making people comfortable in his presence. The pleasure of working for him - in his home town, leaves me with fond memories.##imported-begin##Shirley Compte Chimera##imported-end##

Leon's voice filled the room, the marsh, or most of the Hill Country with "JUNIOR!!!" when ever we met. He also filled my heart with admiration, friendship and love for 50+ years. He and his best friend Bill Stringer are fishing as we grieve. God bless ##imported-begin##Jim Trotter##imported-end##

My love and prayers go to the family at this time. Leon was one of the kindest, most giving gentlemen I have ever known. He was a true patriot and one who was a mentor to many of his peers. He will be missed, but not forgotten.##imported-begin##Roberta McCain##imported-end##
