Jesse Angel Rodriguez, 20, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on August 17, 2019.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 24, 2019, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday, August 23, 2019, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont.
Born in Galveston, Texas, on July 26, 1999, he was the son of Claudio Rodriguez and Maria Olga Vera. Jesse took great joy and pride in racing trucks, as well as working on them. He loved playing soccer, and spent most of his time joking around, with a smile never leaving his face. He was a loving son and brother, and anywhere he went, there was laughter, friendship, and love following closely behind. At almost any given moment, you could find Jesse eating Chick-Fil-A, drinking coffee, or munching on animal crackers. He will be so dearly missed by all those who came to know and cherish him, and will forever be in the hearts of all those he’s touched.
He is survived by parents, Claudio Rodriguez and Maria Olga Vera; grandparents, Ramon Rodriguez, Augustina Castillo-Rodriguez, Cecilio Vera, and Petra Jimenez; siblings, Kassandra Castillo, Jason Rodriguez, Damian Rodriguez, and Adrian Olvera; uncles, Jose Orlando Rodriguez, David Rodriguez, Samuel Rodriguez, Hector Vera, David Vera, Isidro Vera, Juan Vera, and Refugio Vera; and aunt, Maria T. Vera; along with many other loving cousins, friends, and extended family.
Serving as pallbearers will be Erick Fuentes, Jason Rodriguez, Hosbaldo Rodriguez, Emmanuel Sifuentes, Marco Flores, David Perez, Efrain Vera, and Damian Rodriguez. Honorary pallbearers are Rene Avalos, Juan Esquivel, Jorje Aguilar, Diego Rodriguez, Esteban Avalos, and Israel Rodriguez.
