Jessica Lynn Burgess, 26, of Wichita Falls, TX, struggled for years with diabetes. Sunday, October 14, 2012 in Livingston, TX, Jessica lost her fight and went to be with the Lord.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 27, 2012, at the Country Chapel, 5808 Northwest Freeway, Wichita Falls, TX 76305.

Jessica was born on June 5, 1986 in Wichita, KS to Kenneth and Chelli Burgess. She was a graduate of Pampa High School and attended North Central Texas College. She was employed by BlueCross/BlueShield of Texas in Wichita Falls, TX. Jessica wanted to pursue a career in photography and enjoyed country western dancing and spending time with friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Janet F. Garrett and her grandfather, Kenneth Burgess, Sr.

Jessica is survived by her mother, Chelli and her brother, Sam Burgess of Rockwall, TX; her father, Kenneth Burgess Jr. and wife Leanne; stepsister, Katelyn and stepbrothers, Joshua and Timothy Burgess of Australia; nephew, Kaleb Burgess of Amarillo, TX; grandfather, Wilburn Pat Garrett of Wichita Falls and grandmother, Monty Francis Burgess of Diagonal, IA. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and many loving friends who will miss her dearly.

Memorials may be made to Camp Sweeney for Diabetic Children in Gainesville, TX, P.O. Box 918, Gainesville, TX 76241.

Chelli, do you remember me? Jessica and I were good friends in our early childhood. I lived on Greentree Avenue in WF. I have searched for her on Facebook many times over the years.
