Jessie Blackwell Nations

Jessie Blackwell Nations, 61, died Sunday, October 19, 2008, in Orange. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, October 22, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at the Old First Orange Baptist Church. Rev. Bailey Harris and Rev. Bobby Spross will officiate. Visitation will begin at 10:00 before the service.

Jessie was born on October 10, 1947, to J.C. and Opal Aileen Harmon Blackwell and was a Registered Nurse. She worked as a special education nurse at Sam Houston Elementary in the Port Arthur ISD. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald O Nations, of the McLewis Community, TX, and five children; Justin R. Nations of Houston, TX, Micah R. Nations of College Station, TX, Amber N Nations of College Station, TX, Connie Marie Dorrell of Orange and Angel Nations of Orange; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She also leaves five brothers and sisters; Bill Blackwell of Orange, Charlotte Granger of Orangefield, Elmer Blackwell of Orange, Phyllis Spencer of San Antonio and Joseph Blackwell of Orange.
