Jessie Marcos Guzman, 73, of Beaumont, passed away on November 4, 2016, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont.

Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home.

Born in Havana, Cuba, on April 25, 1943, Jessie was the son of Angela Martinez and Antionio Guzman. He worked for Texaco and for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. He was a longtime member of Victory Temple in Beaumont, and he loved listening to Christian music and hymns.

Preceded in death by his parents, Jessie is survived by his sons, Richard Guzman and Steven Guzman; and grandson, Matthew Joseph Guzman.

My prayers are with Jessie's family. I worked with him at Shepherd's and we shared a love for Jesus and our faith. We had many deep discussions about God and I know he's dancing and celebrating with his Lord and savior right now. Again, many prayers for his family for comfort and strength.
