Joann Wise

Joann Wise, 75, of Orange, died Sunday, December 23, 2007, at The Meadows in Orange.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 26th, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Kevin Kissel, pastor of Faith United Methodist Church.

Burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 25th, at the funeral home.

Born in Port Arthur on July 24, 1932, Joann was the daughter of Harm and Jessie Whitmire Snell.

She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in West Orange and had served as a volunteer with Orange Christian Services.

She is survived by her husband, Noble W. Wise, Sr., of Orange; daughter, Joan Marie Fortune of Groves; sons, Noble W. Wise, Jr. and his wife Cyd, of Atlanta, Georgia, Clay Wise and his wife Tina and Clint Wise, all of Orange,

Also surviving are her grandchildren, Charlie, Matthew and Kelsey Hull, Noble W. Wise, III, Kristin and Cody Wise, Eric and Dillon Wise; and four great grandchildren.

For those who wish, memorials may be made to the Building Fund at Faith United Methodist Church or to the charity of the donor?s choice.
