JoAnn Guidry Hernandez, 64, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Pinehurst Nursing and Rehab in Orange.

A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City. Officiating will be Reverend Jeff Bell of Calvary Baptist Church in Port Acres.

Mrs. Hernandez was born November 14, 1947, in Orange to Johnny Abe and Edna Joyce Jordan Guidry. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Michael J. Guidry and John R. Guidry and is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Stacy LeJeune Jarrell and Troy Jarrell of Athens, AL; son and daughter-in-law, John Steven LeJeune and Lea LeJeune of Bridge City. She is also survived by six grandchildren and her sister, Alice Guidry Cox and husband, Damon of Spring.
