John Marcus Gautreaux

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. for John M.

Gautreaux, Sr. at Claybar Kelley-Watkins funeral home with Rev. Kevin McClusky of First Baptist Church of Lumberton officiating. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. for family and friends at the funeral home.

Mr. Gautreaux was born to A. P. "Bill" and Vera Alsup Gautreaux on October 22, 1942, and passed away on June 20, 2009, at Christ Hospital-St. Elizabeth. He was a retired school bus driver from B.I.S.D.

Mr. Gautreaux was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Debbie Pollak. He is survived by his wife, Betty; son, Marcus Gautreaux; three grandchildren, Mark and Ashlyne Pollak of Lumberton and Brandon Pollak who is serving in the U. S. Army and is now stationed in Iraq and a sister, Cathy Coday.

Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
