John Zuniga

John Zuniga, 36, of Bridge City, died Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at St. Mary Hospital, Port Arthur.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Saturday, March 7, 2009 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Bridge City.

Visitation will be from 5:00-10:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.

John was born on June 3, 1972, in Port Arthur, Texas. He is the son of Luis Davila and Angelita Trejo Zuniga. John was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing. John prided himself as a people person and had a unique zest for life. For the past 20 years, John was the assistant manager of the Guadalajara Mexican family restaurant in Orange. He especially enjoyed serving and meeting the many people through his work at the restaurant. He will be truly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory are parents, Luis and Angelita Zuniga of Bridge City; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Gina Zuniga of Orange, Rudy and Yamile Zuniga of Bridge City; sisters, Belen Munoz of Bridge City, Gloria Ibarra of Bridge City; his beloved nieces and nephews and his former wife Brenda Zuniga of Bridge City.

Serving as pallbearers will be Mario Ibarra, Bubba Fox, Pat Biegalski, Joshua Zuniga, Toby LaBert, Jeremy Gothia and Jamie Alonzo.
