Joseph A. Edgerton

Joseph Arel Edgerton, 63, of Orange, died Friday, March 23, 2012, at Baptist Hospital in Orange.

A memorial gathering will be from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2012, in the Family Life Center of First Baptist Church in Vidor.

Born in Orange, Texas on March 4, 1949, Mr. Edgerton was the son of Charles Kalvin and Edith Margaret Parkhurst Edgerton. He was a US Army Vietnam Veteran and a member of the Masonic Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Sarah Ann Edgerton.

Mr. Edgerton is survived by his sisters, Sandra Rose of Moore, OK, and Charlene Steele of Orange; brother, Charles Speedy Edgerton of Orange; his beloved dogs, Briadh and Chewy; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
