Memorial services for Josephine B. West, 88, of Beaumont, TX will be held on Tuesday, August, 12, 2008 at 11:00 a.m.in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow at Claybar Haven of Rest Cemetery. Mrs. West was born January 5, 1920, in Pinehill, TX to Cullen and Annie Mae Brewster and passed away on August 7, 2008 in Beaumont.

She was a long time member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church where she taught the Grace Class and was a member of the Presbyterian Women's Group #5. She will also be remembered for her volunteer work with Meals on Wheels, Some Other Place and the Salvation Army.

Mrs. West was preceded in death by her husband, Charles West. Those left to cherish her memory are sisters, Annie B. Price of Wichita, KS, Corine Lampkin of Marshall, TX, Martha Reed of Dallas, step-children, god-children, nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
