J.T. Harrison, 85, long time resident of West Orange, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas following a lengthy illness.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 2, 2008, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange.

Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 p.m., Thursday, May 1, 2008, at the funeral home.

Mr. Harrison was survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Joe Buchman Harrison; 9 children and spouses: son Jerry and wife Brenda Harrison, son Albert and wife Ima Jean Harrison, daughter Juanita and husband Trudy Mosley, daughter Mary Harrison, son Richard and wife Ginger Harrison, daughter Ruby and husband Lani Geldard, daughter Judy Harrison, son Norman and wife Mary Harrison, and daughter Evelyn and husband Greg Anthony. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
