Judy Shannon Savoy

Judy Shannon Savoy, 66, of Beaumont was born February 4, 1946 in Cheek, Texas and passed away in Harbor Hospice in Beaumont on September 27, 2012. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, October 5 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Beaumont, TX. Visitation will be at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home from 12:00 - 1:30 PM Friday, prior to the graveside service.

Judy was a retired secretary who had worked for KLVI and KYKR radio stations for many years. She was a member of Forest Park United Methodist Church and had been active with her husband in the Beaumont Elks Club.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Carla Beasley Davis of Beaumont, Jaime Anne Janise of Vidor; step-daughter, Gwen Watson and husband, Ricky, of Vidor; six grandchildren, Genna Davis, Jacey Davis, Joshua Davis, Crystal Beasley, Marcus Janise, Jerred Janise; three great-grandchildren, Beaux Jayse Barron, Marley Janise and Macey Janise.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bertis Savoy; parents, Carl and Tootie Shannon; great-granddaughter, Shaylee Ann Janise; and her very special dachshund, Tuffy.
