Karen Lynn Savant, 72, of Beaumont, passed away on January 4, 2020.

A memorial service in Karen’s honor will be held February 15, 2020, at 1:00 p.m., at The Apostolic Church of Beaumont.

Born in Beaumont, Texas, on September 28, 1947, she was the daughter of Pierre Savant and Effie Savant.

She was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Coy Petteway, Jr.; and siblings, Hershel, Howard, Horace, Lee, P.O. Jr., Carl, Susie, Freda and Bernita.

She is survived by her son, Keegan Petteway.
