Karla Phelps Hogan, 54, of Orange, died Tuesday, August 26, 2008, at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Orange.

Memorial service will be 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 29, 2008, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange, with a visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Karla was born August 24, 1954, in Hartford, CT, to Kenneth and Jacque DeLane Bryant Phelps

She was employed by Praxair Health Care Services, and was a member of the Orange Power Squadron.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ken Phelps and is survived by her husband, Steve Hogan of Orange, mother, Jacque Phelps of Orange; children, Ricky Preston Kramer of Beaumont, Kristy DeLane Kramer of Orange, Brandon Lee Hogan of Bridge City and Cody Mitchell Hogan of Beaumont; and brother and sister in law, Jerry Michael and Jo Ann Phelps of Orange.
