What a beautiful woman Ms Katie was. I met her when my son was going through Chemo in Beaumont. She reached out to my son and encouraged him as he went through his treatments. He would walk in and see her and they both would light up. I could never express what an angel she was to us during this time. She shared about her family...her children and grandchildren and would be so proud as she spoke of them. She changed us, and while it is very sad to loose her on earth...but there is no doubt in my mind where she is now with many jewels in her crown. To her family, thank you for sharing your mother and your grandmother. Our lives are forever changed knowing her.
